Project 3, Sins and Virtues

For the final project we had to choose either the Seven Deadly Sins or Seven Heavenly Virtues. I decided to create based on the Seven Heavenly Virtues. Each composition is a visual representation of each virtue. After finishing both digital and analog parts of the project, we sent the tabloid version of the project to the Newspaper Club in the UK for print. The project was printed on tabloid 55gsm newspaper print.
Each composition included photos found on Unsplash.com and Pexels.com, personally taken photos, and the Whitney typeface.
Here, I've attached the link to my Dropmark.

My top three favorite spreads are included below.
My chastity spread includes examples of the consequences of not living virtuously. This juxtaposes the following pages, essentially giving the viewer a warning before continuing.
I chose the word "Mustn't" because it represents the inner dialogue when being tempted to sin. The white vs. red text implies that it can be hard to live virtuously.
For "Kindness" I chose to overlap two photos found on Unsplash.com to share both the giving and receiving side of kindness.
